“To do good work one must eat well, be well housed, have one’s fling from time to time, smoke one’s pipe, and drink one’s coffee in peace.” — Vincent van GoghVincent van Gogh

This weekend, we will celebrate the birth of our namesake, Vincent van Gogh, born March 30, 1853, in Groot-Zundert, Holland.

Based on his own words, we feel it’s only right to raise a toast in his honor. Of course, in our case, the coffee will be spiked with Double Espresso Vodka.

Happy birthday Vincent!

After having the good fortune to meet with OnTap Magazine Editor Robert Fulton during my recent visit to Washington, D.C., I was thrilled to discover he was kind enough to feature Van Gogh Vodka in his March 2008 “Get in the Spirits” column. It’s clear our flavors and the magazine’s custom “On Tap Drop” (Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka, Irish cream and Guinness) were a hit with Robert and his team.

Thanks for putting Van Gogh On Tap in D.C. - Cheers!

Wall Street Journal - March 13, 2008Wall Street Journal consumer products reporter Joseph De Avila recently reviewed Van Gogh Vodka for an article highlighting vodka brands that are “pushing the envelope…”

In regards to Van Gogh Double Espresso Vodka, he noted, “The bottle says this coffee-flavored vodka is perfect for a latte, cappuccino or mocha martini, yet we also found it tasty enough to sip on its own. It’s sweet, coffee flavor and strong punch of vodka could make a good pick-me-up digestif.”
