Peanut Butter Cupcake in a Cocktail
Today’s my birthday. Actually, this week is my birthday week. I have this theory that only children created the birthday week because they’re used to getting a lot of attention and one day of fan fare simply isn’t enough. So to kick off the “day of my birth” celebration (birthday week started last night and will continue through Sunday) Van Gogh’s resident cake queen baked me the most delectable peanut butter cup cupcakes (cupcakes are also a favorite of only children because they come in individual servings and we all know only children don’t like to share, especially dessert). Now, imagine peanut butter cake with a creamy peanut butter filling topped with milk chocolate icing - I call it Heaven! Then, imagine the same concoction in liquid form and you have Stacy’s latest (and my favorite) creation, the Peanut Butter Cup cocktail.
Peanut Butter Cup
- 1 oz Van Gogh Dutch Chocolate Vodka
- 1/2 oz Frangelico
- 1 oz Cream de Cacao
- 1/2 oz Godiva Chocolate Liqueur
- 1 oz melted peanut butter
Pour ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for ten seconds. Swirl chocolate syrup into a chilled martini glass. Strain mixture into glass and serve.
If today’s your birthday as well, have a great one. If not, try one of these recipes, I promise you won’t be disappointed and you can pretend it’s your birthday!
Cheers!
Shelley
