Peanut Butter Cupcake in a Cocktail
Today’s my birthday. Actually, this week is my birthday week. I have this theory that only children created the birthday week because they’re used to getting a lot of attention and one day of fan fare simply isn’t enough. So to kick off the “day of my birth” celebration (birthday week started last night and will continue through Sunday) Van Gogh’s resident cake queen baked me the most delectable peanut butter cup cupcakes (cupcakes are also a favorite of only children because they come in individual servings and we all know only children don’t like to share, especially dessert). Now, imagine peanut butter cake with a creamy peanut butter filling topped with milk chocolate icing - I call it Heaven! Then, imagine the same concoction in liquid form and you have Stacy’s latest (and my favorite) creation, the Peanut Butter Cup cocktail. (more…)

In honor of International Talk Like a Pirate Day, Van Gogh Vodka is helping salty dogs mix up their favorite grog with pirate inspired vodka cocktail recipes.
Pirate enthusiasts planning to mark the occasion will find Van Gogh Vodka has the map to a treasure chest o’ mARRRRtinis that would appeal to the fiercest of buccaneers. Cool off and kick-back with the “Caribbean Iced Tea,” or man-up and “Swab the Decks.”
Caribbean Iced Tea: 1 oz. Van Gogh Vodka, 2 oz. coconut rum, 2 oz. Iced Tea, ½ oz. Lemon Juice, Slice of lemon
Bloody Hell: 2 oz. Van Gogh Vodka, 3 oz. V-8 juice, 3 dashes hot sauce (the hotter the better), 4-6 dashes Worcestershire sauce, 2-3 pinches salt, 2-3 pinches pepper, shake well and serve in a highball glass over ice.
Swab the Decks: 1 oz.Van Gogh Raspberry Vodka, 1 oz. coconut rum, Slash cranberry juice, Splash pineapple juice, 1 oz. Sprite
Captains Punch:1 oz. Van Gogh Pineapple Vodka, 1 oz. coconut rum, ½ oz. Midori, 1 ½ oz. pineapple juice, Splash cream
