Van Gogh Vodka Summer Cocktails

Bay Breeze: 2 oz Van Gogh Pineapple Vodka; 3 oz cranberry juice
Cream Soda: 2 oz Van Gogh Vanilla Vodka; 3 oz ginger ale
Pink Flamingo: 2 oz Van Gogh Acai – Blueberry Vodka; 3 oz pink lemonade
Pomegranate Sunrise: 2 oz Van Gogh Pomegranate Vodka; 3 oz orange juice

Van Gogh’s many exotic flavors can also be used as marinades, perfect for grilling. Try Van Gogh Pineapple, Coconut, Citroen or Pomegranate with this recipe:

Simple Pineapple Vodka Shrimp Kabobs (makes six servings)
Marinade
2 tablespoons minced ginger
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup Van Gogh Pineapple Vodka
¼ cup olive oil
1 tablespoon sesame oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

2 lbs large peeled shrimp
1 bunch scallions, cut into 1 inch slices
1 large red pepper, chopped

In a large bowl, whisk together ginger, garlic, Van Gogh Pineapple Vodka, lime juice, olive oil, sesame oil and cilantro. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for one hour, then remove shrimp from marinade and pour the remaining liquid into a small saucepan. Boil for one full minute and remove from heat. Alternately thread shrimp, scallions and peppers onto skewers.

Place skewers on 425°F grill and cook four to six minutes until shrimp turn pink and opaque, turning once halfway through cooking time, and basting with reserved marinade. Serve warm.

Cheers!
